Larry J. McCord Receives LIBN Leadership in Law Award

Larry J. McCord received the Long Island Business News’ Leadership in Law Award in the category of Sole Practitioner. The awards ceremony was held November 14 at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

Mr. McCord is the managing partner of the Offices of Larry J. McCord and Associates in West Babylon. He concentrates his practice in education law, dealing with students and teachers’ rights and parental rights. He also represents parents and students with school suspensions, staff members at superintendent (3124) hearings and clients at Child Support Enforcement (CSE) and Persons in Need of Supervision (PINS) cases. His professional background also includes working in the educational and government sectors.

The Leadership in Law Award recognizes the following qualities: experience, dedication, hard work, skill, tenacity, excellence and compassion. It is given to those attorneys whose leadership, both in the legal profession and in the community, has had a positive impact on Long Island.
